Here is a brief description of the Nürtingen city in which our school is located.
Nürtingen is a city in Baden-Wuerttemberg, in the southeast of the region of Stuttgart. It is the third largest city of the District of Esslingen. In Nürtingen there live approximately 40,554 people.
History: Nürtingen was first mentioned in 1046 and 1335 the city was founded. During the Thirty Years' Conquers war it was heavily devastated. Due to a devastating fire, the Town was destroyed in 1750, but later rebuilt. At the end of the 19th Century it developed to an industrial city.
Nuertingen has the following schools: - University of Economics and the Environment - College of Art Therapy - Free Art Academy - State Department of Education and Teacher Training
Attractions in Nürtingen: several small theaters, museums of history and art, monuments such as the house of Hölderlin, where the poet passed a part of his youth- Regular events, such as Nürtingen May Day of the Town and the Old Town Festival. Exhibitions such as the Salvador Dali graphic exhibition this year.

Fritz-Ruoff-Schule Nuertingen
Our school which is situated about 30 km from Stuttgart is a large school with 1600 students and 140 teachers in which there is vocational training as well as general training of different levels. our students come from the town of Nuertingen and also from neighbouring towns and villages.
Our school got its's name by the artist Fritz Ruoff of which we also have some works of art in the inside and the outside of our schoool
At our school it is e.g. possible to get trained in different social and health professions and to graduate for university studies. The school is situated on top of a hill on top of the city of Nuertingen where we can sit outside in the sun on fine days or spend our time at the computers or with the books at our library.

Pharmaceutical clerk-order medicines, check it, sign them and sort them into the shelves one. Moreover, they do clerical and administrative tasks, sell pharmaceutical products such as teas, vitamins, sweets, bandages, contraceptives, cosmetics, dental care, ... Education at a Glance
We work in public pharmacies, hospital pharmacies and are also in the pharmaceutical industry and wholesale activities. In addition, we are also the storage and around the settlements.
Our training lasts for 3 years and is dually trained, that is, we are mainly active in the operation, but are also two times a week at the school. The advantage is that we always kept up to date and have no fear of a shock to have practice.
In the context of education at Fritz-Ruoff-Schule, we take part in the project “etwinning”.
